Each day we live we should try to learn something new. It is much easier to “keep your boat afloat” based on the comfort zone in which we have developed from what we’ve learned in the past than it is to subject ourself to a “sink or swim” option of learning or presenting new information. To take a risk trying something new takes courage and confidence. Sometimes it might not work out just like you’ve planned, but if you change the possibility of failure into a learning opportunity, then you’ve already acknowledged your success based on the level of improvement versus fear of making a mistake.
“By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest.”-Confucius
